So this post had been sitting in my drafts for over a year!! I decided I liked it to much, and that it marked a good time in my life to be forgotten about, so it's not real time, but this is what happened for me last year! Enjoy :)
It's been a long, long time since I've written any type of blogpost and my how things have changed!! The anxiety has almost completely left, I've moved on with pride and joy and on the way I made such great, and unexpected friends. When I last left a mark on this page I was convinced that my summer, would once again, be just me sitting alone in my room with maybe one or two exciting days out. Boy was I wrong! My summer, by my standards at least, was more exciting than I thought it would be. Spontaneous decisions to visit festivals, 2am road trips, beer gardens in the warm sun and good friends at the beach.

The highlight of my summer, had to be the Electric Picnic.
A festival of eclectic music, stalls, food and festival goers set in the middle of 600 acre woods with campsite names such as: Jimi Hendrix, Oscar Wilde and Pink Moon there was an incredibly hippy air about it all. Drinking in a circle from any time in the morning and then heading in to go to the funfair or to watch the big acts like Ellie Goulding, Fat Boy Slim and Arctic Monkeys and then sitting under the stars until 5am watching all the party-goers trying to find their way to the elusive rave in the woods, not one hour of the day was boring with something going on 24/7
